Logos

Our logos are the most recognizable elements of our brand. They represent our signature of authenticity. Each of our logos was created by our own people and they stand as symbols of what we work for and towards. Please respect these marks by adhering to these guidelines.

The Ephrata "E" is a distinctive mark used to represent the Ephrata community and the Ephrata School District at large. This stylized letter primarily occurs in more formal settings that signify an Ephrata School District initiative. The Ephrata Middle School uses the E as their main marker and it also appears on athletic apparel.

The Archer Tiger is a symbol of strength and power. Its image commands respect. Although the symbol can be used across the school district, it is primarily used in conjunction with older students and those participating in activities where they represent Ephrata Schools, like athletics and school groups.

While the paw carries the tiger's symbols of strength and power, it does so less aggressively. The Hewitt Paw is a symbol that can be used across the district, but is primarily used in conjunction with elementary schools. It can also be found in directional signage and some athletic apparel.

The Ephrata E and Archer Tiger were created by Gary Archer in 1980 and 1987 respectively. Archer graduated Ephrata High School in 1965 and went on to teach Language Arts at Ephrata Middle School. He was involved in coaching baseball and basketball for Ephrata Athletics from 1971-2002.

The Hewitt Paw was created by Emma Hewitt, a 2020 Ephrata High School graduate. Hewitt was a member of the original school branding team. She drew the paw by hand. It was then digitized for broad use.

School Logos

All schools may use the Ephrata "E," Archer Tiger or Hewitt Paw for various school needs. Primary logos have been selected for each school. These logos should be used in formal school communications as their primary brand identifier.
